Default Indoor Dirt Oval in Waco Tx

There is a nice indoor dirt oval in Waco Texas now. Opened in Sept. The track is a small banked oval. Preparation is excellent every weekend. Large heated pit area with TV for the kids and a real bathroom with a sink soap and water etc They have a snack bar and parts on hand as well. They run 1:18 oval cars, Spec Electric, Nitro Sprints, Nitro Outlaw Sprints and Nitro EDM classes. Every Saturday races start at 6:30 pm. Here is a picture of the racing area.

Part of the indoor pit area. This area has been recently expanded with additional space, tables and central heating.

Here are a couple of video clips of the racing.

Looks like a fantastic facility. If you have not done so yet, post it on dirtoval.com and submit it to the Tracks listing.

Nice!

Default Oh yea they all know about it

Txdirtoval.com and dodc are both run by the same guy. They all come down and race with us. The Dallas animals as I like to call them. Some fast drivers. I've been busy getting my sprinter all tuned up and learning how to film dirt oval races. Check this out.

That is my sprinter all finished up.

And you can check out the track atmosphere in this video I shot last Sat.

Some good close racing that night. 4 factory drivers were wheeling around the oval. Just weekly race too. Hell of a way to start off the new year for the track. They keep making improvements too. A seating area up high over turn 2 for spectators about doubled the number of pit spaces and they have tables and chairs for everyone so you don't have to bring any of that stuff. Its turning into a 1st class facility. I'm trying to promote the place with my videos. All the drivers love them cause they can see how their car is working up close and personal. I enjoy making them and its not that hard. I happened to try and follow one with my old camera one night and found out if you can drive them you can follow them with a camera. Since then I've been learning a few tricks reading techniques on the net and such. I'm working on my own site www.promofo-racing.org. To host a gallery and download area for higher res versions of the videos. 320x240 just doesn't cut it when you're talking sprint car racing

Default I put this one up there too.

I usually post everything to rcracer that I do to the boards in the states. I know a few drag racers from down under. In fact I'm sitting here right now wearing a rcracer.com.au shirt Here is that shot doctored by Mike Ogle who used to do the box art for associated kits before buying Grand Motor Sports. He's pretty good with R/C pictures.

I have a ton of oval videos posted at http://www.rcuvideos.com/uvideos.php...73&type=public The ones from the 30th of Dec on are done with a 3ccd camera that gets pretty nice video. And it has hardware slow motion so the slo-mo is very smooth compared to my old cam.
