Bullfrog where did you hear that Bolink was coming out with spec tires? I checked their website and couldn't find anything about them. How much are they going to be?

I got a call Tuesday about my order and he said they were coming out soon. He does not have the listed yet but it is coming soon- I'd say mid January.

Hey Bill Have you talked to Katfish and see if they can make room for you guys in the Focar state series.
They wouldnt mind and extra 20 to 30 entries. I may consider pro class for a fun option along side 12th scale 19t oval.

Question can we use any diff in the pro class. Keep in mind open the class a little bit but keep suspension as is no mods.

Possible Pro class rules.
1. open tires
2. full bearings thru out
3. keep it stock motors 27t
4. open axle (any make IRS , Asociated, and etc with aluminum hubs.)
5. No chassis mods!!!

I would consider running it this way for sure.

No I have not talked with katfish. The series I'm doing is strickly raced in Jax. They can adopt the same thing as I did and modified the rules for some of these othere classes.Hopefully All the tracks in Jax will use the new updated rules that I made.
In answering your questions
the pro class you can use Bal bearing in the front wheels and rear axles.
Presently there is an any tire rule but they are coming out with spec tires and it will change to them.
The axle will remain with the kit axle. And motors are limited to the Trinity monster Stock.
Oh yes the hubs change be changed to the non lightened Alum hubs. (the old style)
Maybe at the 2nd state race we can try them out for an option class again.
If you need a new car or parts I'm an authorized dealer. If you would like a copy of the new rules we are going to use- I can fax you one.

Default LEGENDS FUN !!

I AM UP HERE IN TENNESSEE AND WE HAVE RAN LEGENDS EVER SINCE THEY REOPENED THE TRACK.

LINK:: http://lailspeedway.proboards54.com/index.cgi

IT IS THE ONLY CLASS THAT IS GUARANTEED TO RUN EVERY WEEK.ALWAYS HAS THE MOST ENTRIES AND WE RUN IT IN A BREAKOUT CLASS OF 8 SECONDS. WE HAVE A 250 ft. RUN LINE ON CONCRETE AND YOU CAN USE FOAMS OR CAPS . FOAMS ARE BETTER CONSIDERING THERE IS ZERO SUSPENSION ON A LEGEND BUT CAPS WILL HAVE AN OVERALL LONGER LIFE WITH VERY LITTLE TRACTION LOSS.

I RUN 3300 GP'S BECAUSE THEY CAN WITHSTAND THE ABUSE OF CHARGING THEM OVER AND OVER. I PUT A PACK IN MY LEGEND WHEN I FIRST GOT IT , MAY OF THIS YEAR, AND THAT SAME PACK IS STILL IN IT AND WORKS FLAWLESSLY. TO ME A LEGEND IS LIKE A VW BETTLE, ITS TOUGH AS NAILS, TAKES MAJOR BODY ABUSE, AND IT DOESN'T TAKE MUCH TO KEEP IT GOING.

AND YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE 4200'S OR A 19 TURN IN IT TO WIN. BREAKOUT KEEPS EVERYONE EQUAL. RULES ONLY REQUIRE IT BE AN UNMODIFIED CHASSIS, LEGENDS BODY, AND THAT IS ABOUT IT. ALL RULES ON LEGENDS ARE POSTED IN THE "RULES" SECTION ON OUR SITE.

BUT, LOL, IN SAYING THAT, I PUT A 3.5R GTB BRUSHLESS SYSTEM IN MY LEGEND. I RUN LUNSFORD TITANIUM TURNBUCKLES, FUTABA DIGITAL S9650 STEERING SERVO, SPEKTRUM HRS SYSTEM, ALUMINUM CLAMPING HUBS ( INSTEAD OF THE JUNK PLASTIC ONES ) AND RUN 64 PITCH GEARING, WHICH SURPRISES THE REST OF MY RACING BUDDIES.

YOU MIGHT SAY I OVERKILLED OR I AM CRAZY BUT I THINK THAT ANYTHING ON IT CAN BE SWAPPED TO A PANCAR AT ANY GIVEN TIME. LIKE A ROLLING PARTS STORE JUST IN CASE I NEED TO ROB SOMETHING FROM IT.

PLUS, YOU CAN ALWAYS SPOT ME ON THE TRACK BECAUSE I WILL BE THE LEGEND PULLING A WHEELIE ON THE BACKSTRETCH, LMAO !!

SINCE WINTER HAS STOPPED US AND THERE ARE SEVERAL INTERESTED IN STARTING LEGENDS IN THE SPRING, I HAVE BEEN ASSEMBLING RTR KITS FOR NEWCOMERS THAT CAN JUST PLUG AND PLAY. IF ANYONE NEEDS ANY PARTS LET ME KNOW BECAUSE I HAVE EXTRAS OF JUST ABOUT EVERY PART FOR A LEGENDS.

GOOD LUCK ON STARTING ONE AT YOUR TRUCK. IF YOU CAN GET ONE STARTED , IT WILL ALSO DRAW A LARGE KID CROWD. THEY ARE EASY TO DRIVE ( IN BREAKOUT ANYWAY) AND WRECKING THEM DOESN'T HURT THEM ... WELL IF YOU ARE NOT RUNNING A 3.5R IN IT ANYWAY, LOL LOL !

HERE IS A PICTURE OF MINE.

Bill I wouldnt be able to run 2 cars in the onroad series this year because I am fielding a 12 scale in oval and having a blast. If I talk to katfish about it and set you up with a class it may be something to help you out. Plus oval with a legend is ideal for me. I like vintage oval looking cars!

Can you email me the rules. I think there is about 7-10 guys in focar who have legend cars, it makes sense to run em there.

The first Series begins on Jan 14th. Sign up is $10.00 per entry. If a family with one adult and one child under 15 signs up there will be a $5.00 discount on the entry. Possible one loaner car available. So get those legends ready .

Does anyone know what type and size bearings are used in the legend car and how many of each?

Thanks

they take the standard front wheel bearing and rear bearing from most 1/10th cars.Any hobby shop should have them. Two for each front wheel and two for the rear axle.

Shucks I thought there was going to be something new.I've got some new parts-front bumpers, chassis, body and others front end parts. Can't get anyone to race them anymore.I would be fun now with a brushless 21.5 motor and lipos. We'd probably run for 30 + minutes.
