I like to give Props to Dave Irrgang of IRS. I had the Pleasure to test out one of his new shocks, Its Called IRS VCS Micro Shock Kit.These shocks are Manufactured out of the highest quality materials available.

These shocks features IRS's own designed foam cup and 1 piece piston. The pistons are nickel/teflon coated for long wear and smooth operation. The Aluminum parts are all machined out of 7075 grade aluminum.

This shock is very easy to build and one of the easiest shocks to change oil in as well.

This shock is very smooth and made my car very consistant and did not leak at all.And one of the many great features of this shock you dont have to worry about debris getting into the shock and contaminating the oil. Here are the part numbers for the shock kits:

IRS4040 IRS VCS Micro Shock Kit - Silver
IRS4041 IRS VCS Micro Shock Kit - Blue
IRS4042 IRS VCS Micro Shock Kit - Black
IRS4043 IRS VCS Micro Shock Kit - Red
IRS4044 IRS VCS Micro Shock Kit - Nickel/Teflon

My recomendation is part number IRS4044 Nikel/teflon by far the smoothest

Wow, its a slightly more tapered DURASHOCK!! Although the same, should be nice and smooth. IRS makes good stuff.

These aren't the same as the durashocks, their made of a better grade of aluminum, and the pistons are one piece vs the two piece assoc piston.I'm currently running the durashocks but plan on switching to the IRS ones next season.
