that is not my personal xbox that is one that i modded mine has crytal case, control pannel, blue led, jewl mod and other mods

thats an xecuter 3ce and he has a lcd front panel on it and it prolly cost him near 110 bucks for just that

actually it's an x3ce w/ pro switch, lcd, 400 gig h/d alot more then $110

Alright, somebody's gotta answer this for me...Why do you mod an x-box, can it not do what it's supposed to, so you have to upgrade it to make it play the games...

Xboxs are perfectly capable in regular form...Modding takes the xbox to another step.
Modding allows you to:
Store FULL games on HDD and able to play with no disc
Put Videos/Pictures on your xbox and have them stored in HDD
Put Emu's on (Lets you play NES games and N64 and things)
Put Apps on it (These let you view pics/videos/weather/itunes etcetc)
Control fan speed, change front LED colour and all sorts of other stuff.
Modding allows you to:

xbox modding is not illegal, there is a massive website called xbox-scene.com with a forums page with near a few thousand veiwers each day. so that just lets you know that modding is ok. the only thing that is illegal however is like roms which you put on your xbox and you do not own the original copy and if you put games on your hdd and do not own them that is illegal as well. sort of like burning cds and dvds if you think about it. as for me i just like the case modding where you get to make your xbox look like a car from pimp my ride
