Hello, all pipe will work with all engines. Maybe not optimal but will run ok. In racing there are times over the years that we hybrid diff engines with different pipes. Try it, you may be surprised and teach everyone something.👍

The Picco quality demolishes the OS hands down. The OS is way overpriced too IMO. They run good though, from what others say... But I wouldn't buy an OS if there was a Picco or Novarossi available. I will say though - Picco engines require a bit better skill when tuning and prefer Picco plugs. If you're a good tuner and use good fuel (Piccos do NOT like high oil fuel! The manuals state 10% oil), the Picco will walk all over the OS. Have it modified and it will eat it for dinner.

sorry, thats where you are wrong! For the price they are not overpriced. Their quality is second to none. Picco has come down in price, and quite frankly when the factory Serpent drivers switched for Picco to OS that says a lot.

Regardless, most motors now a days are of equal quality, and further more are very close to one another performance wise. Having run Nova, Picco and OS onroad motors they are close in every aspect, with a few nuances to each brand.

That being said, the new Picco looks promising. As does the Nova Mephisto that Simon is running.

Big C you have PM.

perhaps Roelof will add to this given his extensive motor evaluations.

What is to add to a topic of almost 2 years ago ?

Regarding the quality of Picco, over the years they had their ups and downs but with every Picco (based) engine I've got it was only downs so no Picco for me. I can not tell how the new models are but the last years there were too many reports about a fast worn P/S set. Yes, they were the cheapest engines to get, do run fast and have cheap parts but over a long time they did cost more than others... I even had seen a Picco team driver running an OS with a Picco head.....

Regarding the 2 year ols question about the Picco exhaust, the 2033 pipe with the Novarossi 5-fin header runs awesome on Novarossi engines. Huge bottom power, good top RPM and a good milage.

PIccos don't last, so you pay less upfront but you end up paying more because you need to buy more of them.
