Default RDLogics Katana Engines

Has anyone ran this engine or know anything about it? I've been trying to find some info on the company but no luck.

Team infinity - you can find a lot of these on ebay and elsewhere for pretty cheap.

Also try searching before posting next time.

I've been told there were some severe quality control issues with the production. The design is great, but the manufacturer dropped the ball during production and some of the motors were total dogs. Others screamed. You might luck out, but it's a risk.

No issue with the Katanas, Its the other engine line that the manufacturer dropped the ball on.

Would you care to elaborate? I'm interested in the RB Logics engines too, but quality control was the only thing keeping me away.

i looked at the thread suggested by the moderator and it only has 4 or 5 posts on it and no info from somebody who has run that motor. all the links on that thread are for sellers of the motor who want to sell. not any info from a buyer who knows how the motor performs. i am all for using the search function but that thread in no way answers quietstorm76's original question.

I have the motor. Its not a bad motor, It starts up nice, idles well, runs pretty reliably. However, dont expect it to compete with Rossi, Mega, Sirio or any other top manufacturer out there. I have the legal 3 port turboand from my experience the claimed 1.5 HP i think is far from factual.
