Default O.S. .18 CV-RX w/11J Rotary Carb

Hey guys...I have a problem with my O.S. .18 motor....I run 20% fuel. The motor is in a Hpi rs4 Racer. The motor had about 10 tanks through it...including BREAK-IN. I can't seem to get the motor to run at peak. Can you guys please check your motors for my and let me know what your needle settings are on the high and low speed? Also what plugs are you guys running?...A3,A5..ect. Please let me know cause its been sitting for MONTHS and it will be years cause I don't know where the needle setting should be around for peak performance.

I never really delt with o.s. motors cause they do not provide that "exciting performance" like the other motor companies provide...RB concept, novarossi,Mugen and so on. I'm a pro in Nitro but O.S. motors were never on my good side....I could always get them started...but never get the performance....Thanks alot

Default yeah

i run that engine in my new ntc3 parking lot car.
I love it!

Definitely need to take a dremel to the exhaust port and smoothing the intake ports and the crank flow just a tad helps ALOT.

This engine likes to run on the rich side with the low end just a touch lean.

Gallon and a half and I've never seen temps over 210

Could probably lean her a touch more, but would rather not... it already eats up my buddies ntc3 with the RB and RD logics pipe
