This is a pic of the crank on the new Novarossi ISON tuned 7port

Balanced 14 mm factory tuned crank , steel bearings, and a killer price

I saw this motor run by Paolo Morganti and Vincent Jackson at the Byron's challenge in Joliet.
The motor had killer power and excellent run time ...

Phil were they on par with the older Kangaroos?

dan_vector 07-09-2014 01:40 PM

Its basically the Kangaroo with a slightly different crank and cooling head. Same Piston/Liner/Rod/Crankcase/Carb etc as the Kangaroo. It is in all intents and purposes simply an update to the Kangaroo Sydney WC engine which has now been discontinued.

Vincent did some of the fastest laps in the a main at Byron's as well as his qualifying with this engine and had excellent run time to boot

That's what led me to pick one up.

Thanks Phil

Ok so I ran this motor in a little ... About 3/4 gallon of fuel. Even from the first tanks you could feel this motor is a contender

We leaned motor down a little. Left it slightly rich and I can say I'm very Happy with the engine

Motor was running in the 240 temp range still slightly rich and has very good bottom end and pulls all the way through the top

Will finish running in today see how it qualifies The motor made 5:30 on a track that is not easy to make 5 min runtime. This was with the supplied 8.5 restrictor and 2015 pipe with short header
