Phil were they on par with the older Kangaroos?
|
Its basically the Kangaroo with a slightly different crank and cooling head. Same Piston/Liner/Rod/Crankcase/Carb etc as the Kangaroo. It is in all intents and purposes simply an update to the Kangaroo Sydney WC engine which has now been discontinued.

That's what led me to pick one up. |
Thanks Phil

Ok so I ran this motor in a little ... About 3/4 gallon of fuel. Even from the first tanks you could feel this motor is a contender
We leaned motor down a little. Left it slightly rich and I can say I'm very Happy with the engine Motor was running in the 240 temp range still slightly rich and has very good bottom end and pulls all the way through the top Will finish running in today see how it qualifies The motor made 5:30 on a track that is not easy to make 5 min runtime. This was with the supplied 8.5 restrictor and 2015 pipe with short header |
