$300 to spend on a .12
Looking for a new engine for my Mtx-3.
Looking to spend around $300.
I am currently looking at the Nova-Mugen X-12. It goes for around $290 most places.
This engine is better than the NSR in almost everything from what i've read.
As long as I get 5 min out of it each tank, i'm satisfied.
I was also looking at the Sirio Evo-3 for $245 at rc-mushroom. Nice price, I could probably get another pipe with the cash left over.
Seems tempting, never tried sirio engines, I know I can trust nova/mugen.

That engine on that site looks like a REX version of the NSR,
Which the x-12 is superior too.

I have a OS .12 TZ(P) T5. It is fast and affordable. It definitely gives you more than 5 min per tank. I paid less $190 for it at rc-toro. Many ppl rave about it. You cannot go wrong with it. You should also check out the new nova rossi, too

I went to order the x-12 from nitrohouse today and noticed the price went from $289 TO $319 so I called and asked for the old price.
They said the engine price went up because the engine now used a turbo glow plug instead of standard.
They said I could have the old price of $289 so I went ahead and ordered.

But on the old price it always said out of stock.

The X12 is a great engine but stock is the same as the Novarossi NS engine. I agree the JP Mod X12 is the sh*t

Do you want a 5 port or 3 port? I have a Jim Hottinger moddifoed TSR5 port for sale. Its still sealed in the box. It retails at $570. Yours for $220

Sounds like a nice deal but i'm already in love with my X-12 Turbo.
By the way, I ran 10 Heat cycles, first four for 3 min between cooling times, next two for 4 min between cooling times, last 3-4 for 5 min between cooling times.
Left the piston at BDC every time.
Took about 2 tanks,
I already race tunned the engine and drove it around the track, think I should of done a few more cycles?
