Need suggestions for nitro street basher 1/8

Hey everyone, I am new here and need some help finding the right direction to go. I know that I am looking for a 4WD 1/8 scale nitro onroad, and will not be racing it so don't need top of the line. Just want to know what cars are out there that would be a great starter nitro car. I have one main goal however, and that is to re-create a LeMans prototype Audi R18 TDI by modifying the HPI Toyota GT-One body. My problem is that I am not sure how to find a motor that has a cooling heat sink that is low enough that I wont have to cut a hole out of the side of the body. I would rather duct air from the bottom, top and front of the car to cool motor. If it still runs too hot I will be willing to cut the front windsheild out, but don't want to see the heatsink! This is my first venture into nitro engines, but I know how to modify a chassis to my liking. Please start me in the right direction. Thanks

Bump,
Is there any way to mount a nitro motor horizontally like rc airplanes?

Well, you could cut most of the head off, just leaving as many fins as you can fit under the body and then mount a strong fan to blow on it. I've heard of people using small airplane ducted fan units for it.
