Stuck glow plug
 
hay all

today i went to remove my glow plug in my Keep on 12 and it was pretty tight. i tryed to undo it but i broke it in half and the thred half of the plug is still stuck in the button. Any ideas on how i can remove it without damage to the button.

there are special thread remover tools.
Use these and heat the butten head up before applying.

Work with a glove so your hand is protected for the heated up buttonhead.

I see a new button head in your future. Head buttons are made of pretty soft alluminum.

Had this happen a while back..A small EZ out got it done. Dj is right. Be sure to heat it up. I put it in a vise. Good luck!

I would try a LOT of heat as Dj mentioned and use a self tapping screw or similar to thread into the plug hole to get purchase
