Crankshaft styles

I've been looking at engines since I blew mine up, I've noticed there arre quite a few diffrent crankshaft ends & abbreveations for them,
Standard, Short Crank, Long Crank, IPS Shaft, Multi-Shaft, SG Crankshaft, Universal Crankhaft, (S), (P), Pilot shaft, regular crankshaft, SG-Pilot shaft, Standard Racing Engine Threaded Crank, Threaded shaft, & others I haven't seen yet!!

This is what I've been running, it's the AE .15 that was stock in a RC10GT RTR Plus,

It seems to be the same as those with SG in thier discription & pilot shaft engines, but that's just by looking at engine pics on Tower & there's no way to know if the pic is the engine they are describing.

So to use my AE clutchbells & flywheel what crank do I need & if & can't get that crank what adaptors do they hace to go on the ends of the short & threaded cranks??

I bought a TRX 2.5 with the multishaft engine( P/N 5206) & will put the Associated clutch nut (P/N 7603) on it.
I guess I'll know if it was the right setup when me engine gets here Thursday.

Are any of the crank styles compatible with the Associated SG craank??

There are a bunch that look like it but are any the same so my flywheel & clutchbells will fit with no problems??

themoose: Are you sure that engine came out of a RC10GT?? I race a Gt onroad and I never new a sg shaft would work on a GT. I use sg shaft engines on a GT with NTC3 clutch stuff, but it takes special engine mounts and a lot of trick work to make it work. All GT's I know of use standard crankshaft engines, no matter if its a RTR, Team or what ever. I thought all s/g shaft engines were the same, a extra shim or 2 maybe needed for spacing, but that's about it. Thread size I thought was all the same also.

The pic is of the engine that came out of my RC10GT + RTR.
I bought it new so I know it's the original engine.
