I still have like 12-15 piston/sleeve sets for 12 engines sitting somewhere in tool box. I am just wondering out of curiosity, how long it will take Novarossi to copy my bi-metal sleeve design.
I definitely miss the hobby. But my new hobby is as good as RC.

Gregory, in 2006 i joined Axial Racing and my Palmaris engines were re branded to Axial. In 2007 I left hobby and since that I have no idea what is going on. I know Axial change their business direction then was bought by Hobbico. They don't make any more engines, they are making rock crawlers only.
My new hobby has nothing to do with RC.

Hey Stefan, how are you buddy?
I am OK, working on the same place as I told you before. Changed my hobby from RC to firearms and enjoying target range. Leo finish university, moved to Maryland, got married.
Stefan, do you remember in FL in 2004, you were the one of the first one who run PS12. It was disaster, engine wasn't ready at all and we loose so much valuable time
But it was fun!!!

This is my process and its worked really well.I mount the engine on the car and set the clutch not that aggressive, you will need a heat gun.try to do this process on a track.hope this helps.

Heat the engine to around 160 to 180 degrees and crank it up,throw the car on the track and run a complete 500cc fuel bottle without turning it off,the reason for doing this without stopping is because when the engine is at those temps it creates less stress on the conrod, keep the temp at no more than 180.once the bottle is done stop and let the engine cool down for about 15 minutes, now repeat this process the same way but now run it at 200 degrees for a bottle, one the the bottle is done stop and let it cool down again, now your ready to start tunig, run another bottle but now your ready to start runing hard, use this last bottle to tune it little by little, once the engine is ready it will let you know by going a bit rich, once this process is done change the plug and reset your clutch to race tune,it should take you about 1 gallon to complete this process.
