Default Going all new for 2015. Need your opinions on .12 Engines

Hey guys, my Mugen MTX4R was getting warn out from the few seasons that I have owned it. Now it's time to go all new. I picked up a new Xray NT1 and now I want to know what everybody is running for motors this year. I am hoping to stay under or right around the 300 dollar limit for the engine but can flex a bit if it's worth it. I need a .12 3 port engine. I want to be very competitive as well. I need a little more than my Murnan Modified Picco Red dot that I had last year. Obviously I would love to get a Novarossi Vitus but those are pretty pricey.

thank you for any and all input!

Kyle

The Muran Modified RBM3X pricey but will last you for atleast a full season. Well worth the money hands down.

I think i'm going to go with the murnan Novarossi Virtus. Seems that that might be the fastest engine i can find. I just hope it lasts for more than one season

+1 - the Flash PT series may be an older engine but still a goody and priced well.

Gonna throw another one in the mix! I was lucky enough to run the new PICCO EMX-WC at the worlds. Gotta say that it blew my novarossi keep-on and virtus motors out of the water. I couldn't get the OS 1201 to make 5 minutes either. The PICCO would do 5:30 easy and stayed so consistent. Ran in quickly too whereas my nova's didn't ever seem to run in at all, wouldn't hold tune and ran REALLY hot...

I didn't buy it actually. It came out of Mr Picco's box of goodies... I have ordered 2 more for the 2015 season (already edo modded out of the box) from our country distributor (CML). I believe Murnan is also stocking/modding them here http://www.murnanmodified.com/index....roduct_id=1060 or the stock edo tuned one here http://www.murnanmodified.com/index....roduct_id=1056
