Synthetic vs Castor
Most fuels either use synthetic or blended synthetic/castor.
I have a 1 litre bottle of model castor fuel that i bought.
I buy 15% fuel with synthetic oil for cheap and add my own stuff to it to make it 30% nitro with a bit of added castor oil.
Yeah i know...blah blah who cares...
I have a 4 gallon drum of methanol and was wondering if it was ok to use my castor oil instead of synthetic to make my own fuels...
What problems will it create? Will i ruin my engines?
Thanks btw i'm only using the oil in low end .12's and .15's...
cheers

synthetic oil
I use castor as an additive . The main reasons not to run pure castor is it is so hard to clean, leaves carbon deposits, gums your engine in storage, blah blah blah. Save yourself the trouble and buy some Klotz Benol or mix with pure synthetics. Will not hurt your engine at correct percentage.
