Default Mega 2607 pipe & header

I recently mounted this pipe(Mega-2607) to my MTX-4. But the shape of the header positions my pipe too far away from the chassis. My pipe and springs take a beating being so far away from the chassis. Is there a different syle header that keeps the pipe closer to the chassis.

Hi - can anyone help!?!? Re: ZX21 DSI

I have a ZX21 DSI - i bought it second hand, and after about 5 tanks, the conrod went. had to replace the piston and sleeve too - and on the new engine have just run it in. i REALLY dont want this one to go so quick this time as i cant keep affording to replace the whole lot!! SO.... could anyone out there who has had experience with this engine tell me what the ideal running temp range is - as i have just bought a temp gun to try and prevent me letting it overheat - but it aint much good cause i cant find what the running temp should be of this engine anywhere!!

Thanks alot!!!!

Leon, the DSI is know for it's problems with the conrod.
Keep the engine on the rich side on the LSN, and try to run it not hotter then 100-110C /210-230F

Replace the conrod every 3 liters of fuel.....

Do you know how many liters or gallons of fuel allready went through the engine? because the crankshaft wears to and might come to a point where changing the conrod isn't enough anymore....

I agree with M7H. I had the same thing happen to me. For break-in open HSN 6 turns from closed. Make sure you use Picco plugs only or you will be chasing tunning issues. Keep the temp in the 190-200 range for break-in.

i use the option tall mega head on mine and is fine, but with less fins on the standard mega head there might be a great temp difference im guessing.

Because Picco is earning enough money from OFNA, the engine's produced for Serpent (Mega), Ielasi (IDM), and Solaroli, are hard to get, and probably not there 1st priority.....
Hopefully in the near future Picco will step up the process, and deliver more engines to these 3 clients.
Certainly because 2 other engine brands (will not mention names here ) are having issue's at the moment, it is a good time to have these Picco based engines on stock in the LHS......

Default picco crankcase for zx21 sport ?

is any of the picco crankcase can fit the zx21 sport ?

a friend of mine had just broke the conrod during practice and the rod went straight thru the crankcase. Anybody tried swaping the zx21 sport crankcase with a picco one ?
