The M7T from REDS is based on a Picco engine in the sense that the only thing they have in common is the Bore/Stroke ratio. The rest is different and better on the REDS M7T as fare as I can see.

Piston/sleeve has 7+3 ports on the M7T, the Torque 7+2
M7T Sleeve has tear drops
Crankshaft lightened, red putty inserted and its balanced
Combustion chamber lightened on the M7T
High quality ceramic rear bearing, not standard on the Picco´s
Over all weight is lighter on the M7T 310gr, the Torque 335gr

So it's a Picco on steroids... So it's actually closer and better to the Picco EDO modified engines....

If you ask me :-)

Wow, these things are really been tuned when compared to the stock mills.

Thanks for the input, I will be getting two of them today.
I have an EDO which I still need to run and M21's. Very keen to see how these perform.

And I am assuming the fuel mileage is good on these engines when compared to Nova based?

Thanks for the input, appreciate it.

Regards
Warren

Does anyone have some feedback on the XL Strokes preformance. Started breaking in my M7T on Sunday with 16% and the thing is a bullet.

Stronger mid range perhaps?

Yes, you notice it mostly when shifting from 1st do 2nd gear...the engine is just pulling without any delay.

They are really fantastic!

Bearing size is front 7x19x6 and rear 14x25.4x6 ... so bearings for an OS Speed will fít, and so will Sonic, Picco Torque and Novarossi Kangaroo ... good luck; Best wishes; Jens

Novarossi Kangaroo won't fit as it is 25.8mm OD
