HELP go engine .15 35000RPM

1: i brought this engine off ebay and would like to know more about the engine. Made in taiwan by GO engine co.,ltd but cant find alot about engine on web SPECS BELOW FOR ENGINE 2: What type of 2 pin flywheel for pullstart and nut to buy using 2 piece standard clutch (cheap on a budget) as the standard engine is different the center hole is smaller on flywheel . Most of the the guys we race with use OS .15cvx and this go engine has more RPM etc but our motors got to be 2.49cc max This is my 1st rc car me and my dad built the stockcar frame (now hes got 1 too) This is a New Zealand Stockcar but we run on road surface not dirt but our real stockcars do. The most wrong thing you have done is buying an engine based on the paper specs. Paper specs does not mean a thing......
If a .15 is the max you can get and you wanted to have the best performing engine I do not think a GO is the right choice. I know in the 235mm onroad scene the Novarossi and Picco .15 engines were the way to go and now even today's .12 racing mills are better than the populair .15 models from then. |
It should run good. If everyone else is running OS, you should have a bit more grunt.
It's an SG shaft motor so you will need a flywheel/clutch to fit. A NTC3 set-up is popular on dirt oval cars. |
