Default Main Engine Bearing (.12)

Does anyone know what diameter the balls of the main inner bearing of a 11.5 mm diameter crankshaft version of a .12 engine? How many balls are there?

I found out that for the 11mm crankshaft versions, the diameter of the balls are of 1/8" and you need 8 of them.

Thanks.

D it depends on who made the bearing. I have seen some that are a couple thousanths smaller than others depending on who the manufacturer is. Ran into that when building some ceramic ones. You will have to dismantle one and mike them. That is the only way to really know

Thanks for the reply Dennis. I was hoping I did not have to open up a new bearing just to find out.

I think you know the main reason why I'm asking this.

I know the balls are smaller than 1/8" because 1/8" are used on the 11 mm crankshaft versions. So it could be 3/32" or 5/64" if they are indeed standard size balls...
