Thanks for that info beebone, wow i am surprised they didn't use a ceramic bearing for this beautiful looking speed version motor, i have been using OS motors for a very long time, in fact my first nitro motor was the VZR and it is still running till this day, i am a OS man at heart.

well then i will hold of on this Speed version until i can see pics of the internals cause like i said the VER 1 and VER 2 .21XZR are identical, i guess you can say why change some thing that is already good

rageworks, no bullshit here mate, if you felt that I/we have highjacked this thread then i will apologise. we are all here talking about our OS ENGINES. if there were more info and pics available for us OS user to look at and compare, then i guess we wouldn't be here on this thread.

sorry again mate

No worrys men

Ok . I have ordered my O.S. today . I try the Vers .II
Can someone tell me where I can find the ceramic bearings for O.S. engines ?

I hope the O.S. will statisfie me ...because at the moment I hate Italian Brands Engines .

I dont hate Italians or Italy ... I hate the Engines
Donīt know how to explain but I think that the good engines are all in privileged hands .

O.S. for me asures high quality and strong materials . So I decided to use O.S. in the next Time .

Italian Engines are for sure the best engines in the world . But I think that a normal user will never get an Engine like a Proīs one .

Sometimes you can be lucky and you get a "good" engine . But when you compare it with an engine of a top driver you will think that your engine is standing .
Than I cant stand it to pay a lot of money for an engine and the top drivers get it like a gift .....

Does anyone have a parts listing for this new engine (or an exploded diagram)? I searched the web and couldn't find anything.

Who would stock spare parts for it? (rods, bearings, etc) Again, I looked online and couldn't find any.

Do O''Donnell plugs work with this engine? If yes, which one do people find works best.

As you can guess by by login name, I have never owned an OS before

Thanks,

Thanks,
I used both Odannell and OS plug in my Sirio, I think Odannell plug can be used in OS. If so, I recommend 99T. Same as I use OS RP7 on XZ-R now

Speak to Peter @ TKO Bearings http://tkocompetitiondev.com/index.php?cPath=38_102
He'll sort you out with some Ceramic Engine bearings. I beleive the sizes are the same as all OS 21 engines.

rear 25.4 OD x 14 ID x 6
front 19 OD x 7 ID x 6

Thanks,
I don't think OS have released the Parts List just yet for these new engines.
Eventually it will be listed on this page http://www.osengines.com/parts/ under the Model numbers Max #13875 and Speed #13880

Model Engines www.modelengines.com.au are the Aussie Importer/Distibutors, and there are some parts available already on Ebay stores in Hong Kong/Taiwan.

I would only use the OS RP7 plug as recommended.

Actually, when you purchase the engine, there is a small brochure in the box that has an exploded view of the engine and the parts list. I've accidentally discarded it...

Well my two engines arrived today. Special thanks to www.worldhobbies.com here in Australia for their super service!

This is the first OS engine I have owned, and am very impressed so far.

The packaging is by far the best on the market The flip open box, the special air bubble protection, all the accessories are individually bagged.
