Hey guys I am transfering the flywheel and clutch stuff from my dead Dynamite Mach .15 motor onto a fresh TRX .15 Pro motor.

I put the split-beveled cone onto the crank, and then the flywheel. Next I put the clutch adapter nut onto and tightened it a ton.

However when I tried to spin the flywheel, it would NOT rotate the crank. I would just spin on the crank and grind against the clutch adapter nut. When I used the pull starter, the flywheel would rotate perfectly, but it will not spin the crank independently.

Any ideas? I'm scared if I tighten it anymore I will break or mess up the crank

I'm not sure about your question. But let me guess...

When you tightened the flywheel nut to the end but the flywheel still can't hold the cone? You can try to put on some shims(SG 7x11mm;STD 5x9mm) between engine's front bearing and cone. Or use another higher cone and try again. If not work or you need many shims,you need to cut off your threaded shaft to make it shorter.Hope this help.

I understand now, but I still can't get the bolt off. It tightened it too much. Is there anyway I can get it off without taking the pull starter off to stop the crank from rotating as I try to remove it?

Install the plug then fill the combustion chamber with after-run oil. (Of course your engine is upside down) Use Oil compression to lock the piston.
