Well, that's your experience. My CV-RX's were screaming. Of course didn't catch up to the rear exhaust engines, but excellent performance for pullstart engine. Plus, easy to tune.

willt he .18 cv-rx fit into the the ntc3 rtr plus?

CTurbo 08-25-2004 06:37 AM

It will fit and it will be the fastest pull start engine you can have.

No contest RB K.12, OS CVX is a boat anchor.

Pull start engine

Bxclip,
Stick with the thundertiger, with a little modifications, they can be made to go quite well! Near as well as most race engines. Unless it's worn out then I say get any good Italian rear exhaust race engine with a turbo plug and buy yourself a start box. More key though in my opinion is what pipe you use in conjunction with what engine. There are good combo's and bad ones. I personally stay away from pullstart engines, only for the reason that I'm scared the pullstart will fail right before a main event or something like that.

just keep in mind the CVX is most definitely NOT the CVRX. the CVRs blow the CVs out of the water with almost double the power.

and supposedly the .18 CVR is capable of dumping a Gt on its roof. id believe it when i see it, but i was actually just looking at one today. the thing is solid, and its a MONSTER! i havnt felt that warm since i played with that sirio :)

i went home today and ordered the .12 CVR. my CVX was a decent engine, and the CVR is double the output. w00t.

beetlebz 08-28-2004 05:19 AM

oh yeah, not to mention, the CVRs are so easy to tune even a losi guy could do it :D

Havent seen a CVR running, I know the CVX I had was easy to tune but it wouldnt pull your foreskin back for a pee:lol:
