Default TECHWELL .12 5or3 pt

g'day all ... just wondering about the engines .. looking on ebay there is a few new ones for sale very cheap .. i was gunna post this in the offroad section but being a onroad engine il post here i think il have more luck ..

im looking for a cheap .12 for my bros mugen 1/10 st truck and came across a techwell .12 on the net .. he will only bash with it and run in car parks and such .. being a sg crank does not bother me il make it fit .. i want sumthing cheap as but nice and hi-reving . so tossing up bettween this or a sts.12 ??
rc mart also has the grp-st .12 for sale but wanna kinda keep it all under $150aus shipped.

if its going into a truck, and these are the only two engines to choose from, I would go for the 3 port engine:
good allround performance.
the 5 port engine would have more power up top but less on the bottom, so considering its going into a truck the 3 port might seem more powerful than the 5 port.
One question: why an onroad engine into a truck?
I would just slap in an OS 18TZ - fantastic engine, ballistic power - all unmodded and runs great even on a random pipe.

we already have a rc10gt with a 18 in it ... thats not what we are going for .. we want a high rev'n .12 plus just sumthing diffrent .. we want usable power up high not tons and tons every where like the tZ will give and destroy drive trains ..
