The JP version of the X12 is better than stock, but no where near it's potential. The JP X12 sleeve is good, but the crankshaft is pretty plain. It has a turbo scoop and a couple of minor mods to the crankshaft, but there is absolutely no increase in timing. JP lightens the crank a little and puts a fuel ramp to fill the hole where the metal was removed. Yes, better but not best.

Uriah, are you getting good results modding the X12? Is that the fastest 3 port around now?

Thanks

From what I have seen it's very fast and last a long time. Some others are just as fast, but wear out faster (mcp). I guess we'll see next week at the nats, where I am sure there will be no shortage of fast motors.

Do you like it better than the RR L3 and the NSR? It will be interesting to see the results at the nats. I assume you are going. What engine will you be running?

When people say that the RR L3 is for shorter tracks how short do they mean? Would you consider Ft. Meyers a short or long track? I think I am racing on a short track but I don't have much to compare it with.

If the ts12 is the same as the ns12, and the ns12 is the same as the x12 , why buy the x12? Just curious.

The ts12 is only 219 at nitrohouse.

Default Needle settings on X12

What are the neddles setting on X12 for breakin in?
I opened the box and found out that the mid range needle was not flush, needle was way screwed in.

HSN was 5 turns out, LSN was 4 turns out.

are these settings suitable for break in? how about the idle speed?

if this engine exactly the same as NS3, why even bother to pay more money?? i also don't know why i pay more for this engine.

thanks for your help.
