Default picco evo4 .12 vs torque

Hi, recently i bought a picco evo4 .12 engine as recommended by my local LHS. the owner was pretty helpful along our hole nitro experience so i trust his recommendations.

i came back home to look for more technical information on the engine and couldnt really find anything with the exact same part # as on the box other than some online shops. the closes engine that i can find that looks exactly the same as my engine is the picco torque. the heatsink design is exactly the same except for different graphics. just wondering if the evo4 and the torque is a similar engine...

another question is are there any differences between the regular engine case and a modified (EDO, IDM) engine case?

thanks

If you are in the US. I have the IDM engines that your dealers can order, the engines have slightly different work done. I am sure you will not be disappointed!!! Contact us through PM if you need help.

Here are some shots of the new IDM .12
I put about 3 tanks through it tonight. So far so good! Can't wait to get out on the track with it.

Guys, does anyone know what the difference between 'EDO modified' and 'factory tuned' is?

I suppose he works on the "EDO" at home and the other one he only does in the factory..

Just kidding.

The factory tuned engine has more work done to it and I think it's also been broken in, but I am not 100% sure.

Yes. The EDO Modified are just flowed a little more from the factory.

Factory tuned are supposed to the a better fir piston & liner and run on the bench by Eduardo.
