HELP - Kyosho GS15R engine won't start
I've got a Kyosho GS15R engine with electric start. the problem with it is that for all that i can do I can't get it to start!!
The touch starter will not turn the piston whenever the cylinder head is attached. take off the cylinder head or just loosen it and it will turn over, but there is no ignition what so ever. the problems seems to be that whenever the cylinder head is attached that there is too much of a vacuum in the cylinder to allow the piston to move freely, meaning that the starter motor can't turn it over.
Has anybosy else had a similar problem or knows how to fix it??

sounds like your flux capacitor is bad.

does the starter turn? Have you removed it and checked?
the gears in the starter assembly are plastic and a buddy of mine has had problems with the main gear inside the starter stripping so he finally put a pull start on it. part of the problem is with the gear mesh which is not adjustable.
