I can vouch for the hand lapping process Neal does at Clockworks. Virtually eliminates rod and bearing stress from new engine break-in. Call him and inquire.

Default Lapping Machine Down under style

I was shown this machine in the pits at a recent event, it is a prototype with a adjustable dc motor/circuit.
