Default On Road .21 in a Buggy?

Alright guys, I know it is a stupid question that I probably already have the answer for but since I'm concidering it, I must ask, will it hurt my .21 On Road to run it in my buggy? It's an RB-C5 on road engine. The problem is my off road engine is broke and so am I I want to race and this is the only engine I have. If it is ok to use can you guys give me any advice to tame it for the dirt. I'm also worried about the alum carb. Will it get hurt with the abuse that the jumps and whatever else give it? Thanks

it shouldnt hurt the motor any, but watch the temps. on road motors are usually shorter stroke so they turn mor rpm and have a little less torque. so you will probably see a change there. but it should be ballistic on the straights.
