Novarossi plus .12 3sct vs RB Touring 10 RC
#16
RB doesn't produce the engines! Novarossi does ...
To judge the difference between the engines you have to be a World class driver and a excellent mechanic! Also there is clutch set up that has a big influence on engine behaviour .... When I reed this thred I get the feeling I should throw away my .12 Flash

Ok that is true but RB makes the research and all the specs not Novorossi.
Novarossi just makes the engine as an engine maker, Rb doesn't do their own engines because they don't have the cnc machines like Novarossi have.
I respect Novarossi and all the money that they put in their engine factory but RB is the best engine designer both in the mechanical way and in the engine looks

All engines are great, well, engines like Nova and RB for example. I love my RB T10, and would happily get another one from RB any day, if I had the option between RB or Novarossi. If there was a Nova that was a lot cheaper than an RB that I happen to be looking at, then I would go the Nova since they are almot the same. I just get the feeling RBs are a little more aggressive in power, but I can't say for sure.

But the only Novarossi engine they have there is a 2.5 for the T-Maxx, and a CX12.
Otherwise you can get the '08 353 + pipe from rcmart.com

DJ_S I thought the comparision was between RB 10 RC which is $430 at Amainhobbies and the 12 3sct is $300 @ Kamikaze. And the Flash is $349 @ Serpentamerica.

For the price the flash is hard to beat, however the quality of the RB and the ease of tuning justifies the price difference if you ask me. After 17 liter's my RB R3 RC is still fast, not fast enough for high end competition though, but it still idles perfectly, makes a good practice and rain-engine. For me this was the first engine which lasted more as 10 liter's in high competition use.
However if you want the fastest I recommend you to take a look at the Capricorn LAB E01 WC, mine makes flash engines (or any other engine) run home crying.

It's 330 euros for the T10 RC.
You have to create a login to see the prices.
This shop has good service and is reliable.
For the Capricorn engine I would suggest ordering through Capricorn directly.
I'm guessing you're from Germany, the german distributer is http://www.modellsport-profis.de/ind...5e7c525d628a4d
If you're really interested in the Lab engine send me a pm.
