techwell nitro engines

who has ever seen one of these techwell engines run? letalone seen one of them at all? the one in question is the .12 rear exhaust pullstart motor, apparently they are rated at 43,000 RPM, can anyone shed some light on these mystery engines?

I have seen one, it seems to be powerful. Should have one for testing in a month or so. They arent released yet. Not in AU anyway.

I'll let a cat out of the bag here. Techwell is the manufacturer who is suppose to produce the Richey/RD engine. We have been working with them for over a year now and they just can't seem to get it together on production. They are over committed on another project. All the specs and testing for the engine has been done with great success but it is a FAR CRY FROM THEIR STOCK MOTOR. This is the reason there are no motors available yet. We are looking at other ALTERNATIVES/MANUFACTURERS because of this reason. By no means have we seperated from them yet, time will tell as they have all the specs to produce the engine and I have been running a single prototype Richey/RD version for a while with great success.

The motor I saw was a pullstart, rear exhaust. I am guessing that isnt the prototype Richey. There was a lot of hush hush with the one I saw though. It is supposed to be similar power to an MT12 but pullstart & very cheap. Time will tell, I have been told I will have one to play with soon.

Very good I liked it,good casting,No clean up needed, looks strong, And con rod looks good too.And they got a bigger cooling head for them which may come as standed.
