I was wondering if anyone knows if the OS TR.12 and the Turbo TR are legal for ROAR sanctioned races?

I don't think so,... ther 12TRPT (turbo) has 5 ports I guess,....

sorry the trp is legal, they have a trp t5 which is not roar legal

ok ... so then the three port turbo engines are now legal .. just not the outlaw 5 port engines ... so a last years 3 port mugen mt12 with a turbo button in the head is legal now correct .... guess I need ot hit the Roar web page and get the 2004 rules book PDF and read it over ...

According to 6-31: Engine dimensions/requirements for ROAR legal engines here is the deal with the engines:

.12 class
4 ports (including exhaust)
carb 5.5mm
displacement 2.11cc
exhaust port height 4.5mm
stinger ID 5.0mm
stinger length 15.0mm
turbo plug

.12 open
unlimited ports
carb 5.5mm
displacement 2.11cc
exhaust port height 4.5mm
stinger ID 5.2mm
stinger length 15.0mm
turbo plug




So, if your engine meets the above, it is legal regardless of the crank.
