Set a price limit for yourself and then decide what engine to get. That being said, I say get the .18TZ. At half the price, you can't go wrong. It can be moded just like the rest, and you'll have money left over for other stuff. Just my 2 cents.

Hiya there,

How do i take a sleeve out of x12 motor? I used zip tie to get it out and it didn't move, also tried using tootbrush and push the sleeve but the sleeve did not move at all. I'm afraid if i over do it i will damage it. Seems like there's some kind like a seal between the sleeve and the case that makes the sleeve is very difficult to get out. Please help!
Thank you guys

Put the zip tie in the exhaust port and turn the flywheel until the sleeve comes out enough to place a flat head screw driver underneath then slowly pry it up should come out easy enough.

You paid $310 for a discontinued engine. The euro rate has gone up a ton since the release of those engines.

the only reason this engine was discontinued is that it was too much money to send to jp and send back to get modified. i have two of the fxt03 and have two of the x12 jp (before these purchases) and the x12 blows the doors off the fx.

you got a great deal.... I havent seen that engine for less than about 385 dollars.

I do agree, the Murnan is a very good engine. That is the latest one I am playing with...

thanks scott... i paid $400 for my other two. i was told by mugen that it was too expensive to produce. they have to ship it to jp and then jp ships back... so they are going to now just stick with the fx. the murnan is ballistic.... i would have bought the murnan but the x12 was just too good to pass up.
