Official not much more than an old news item on RedRC

The main issue is that for stockcar the powerband with onroad and offroad engines is to high and with airplane engines it is to low, This engine is fully optimised to the RPM range needed for running a stockcar. Getting this engine to perform competive with the onroad is still in devellopment but with new materials there is some improvement made.
Speed is only fiction but a 130+km/h MRS4 is for real.

It's been more than a year that OPS has finally changed the crankcase to a more modern Novarossish layout. Actually I think it comes from the Vega family engines. I'm pretty sure they gave up square stroke for long stroke. Much better engine now.
Still the preistorical OPS family were, in my opinion, very nice to drive, due to the typical OPS power range, short and full of torque. In my Pan Car it was funny to drive! A step behind the usual fast engines, though.
