The main difference between the 2 engines are:

12-3CT's crankshaft diameter is 11.5mm

12-3SCT's crankshaft diamater is 11.9mm

one more, that "C" means ceramic bearings right, so id assume they both have ceramic bearings.

Yes, the 12-3CT should come with a rear Ceramic bearing.

REX is cheaper because of the lower quality of materials. From what I always understood, REX are the engines Novarossi has thrown aside because they did not like their tolerances.

It is still novarossi based, so it should run pretty reliable.

REX branded engines are now only making HELICOPTER engines, the title say REX 12-3SCT but click the link I posted, you will see it's a NOVA ROSSI 12-3SCT 09" which is the new engines with purple head.

I don't think that was ever really true. The whole Nova/Rex/Top thing was really just done for marketing/distributorship reasons. The best motor I ever had was a Top R1 WSC.

Default Rex 12-3CT

This engine is the same base as Max XXL3 and RB R3. It's the first plus 12 engine with 07601 conrod so it will be cheap to run in the long run.
