Should i buy a new os 12zt t5 or a well maintained second-hand os 12tz spec2??

i need u professionals,help to decide Should i buy a new os 12zt t5 or a well maintained os 12tz spec2??

the second hand spec2 have used 8 liters oils....

I have a Spec II O.S Speed and with the O.S T-1040 pipe and manifold, it screams. The 5 port motor would probably be the way to go. Having an engine from new is the best. You dont know what sort of abuse the Spec II has seen.

im a proud owner of the os tz spec2.. grab it if u can, but be sure to check it out thoroughly before buying. as a reminder, change that conrod as soon as u get it.

I am sorry, dude. But, buy used engine is very risky. Many ppl have bad exp. Search the form. I would rather buy a NovaRossi N12

yeah, that is true most of the time. if can, get it secondhand locally, where u can evaluate it or even test it before buying. even new engines depends on luck :)
