JP Eagle vs 09 353 modded?

Has anyone here run an Eagle vs the new 09 Novarossi 353 factory modded version? If so I would like to hear opinions.

From what I have seen in the couple of months that they have been out... The Eagle has farther reliability compared to the 353 '09. The 353 '09 's bearings and conrod go out too fast.

Only the first batch have issues, the latest batch 353 09's are perfect!

Good to know Sam! What other issues have you been informed or aware of?

They found a way to make the crankshaft more balanced than the previous batch, therefore improving the life of the con-rod as well as the bearings, so overall.... a faster and more reliable engine.

I have ran both the jp eagle 12 3t and the 353 09.

i found the 353 09 has heaps more bottom end than the JP. The JP would work better with a higher nitro content due to the larger size of the exhaust port.

Both my 353 09s have had the front bearing go gritty after run in, since the bearing change they are awesome.
