Default engines for serpent 966

hi,
Need a engine and pipe combo that will give me the most punch out of corner. Realised that most time is made in corners and not so much in top speed.... currently runnig a sirio AAC with 2013 pipe.

Recommendation pls

p.s maybe clutch setup or modification
clutch setup as manual with leading flyweight

Thanks

Short track based circuit ?
Try a buggy engine.

For an onroad engine I would say to go for a Novarossi 35-plus-21 (not the Collari of Cordoba) with a 2052 pipe and a middle or long header.

i would try the FLASH is you are ready to spend big.

I like the 35 Plus 21, too. The issue of 35 plus 21 is run time. FLASH offer much better run time, and almost identical power band. The hard part is finding one under $600.

Why do you not recommend the Collari or Cordoba version? Are they not good?

They have a smaller crankpin and do have some issues with lifespan and reliabillity. Also I think those engines do not have the bottompower as the 35+ has.

Regarding the clutch, try a Team Orion square spring.

drilled or weighed flyweight make the clutch more punch ?
Any suggestions or parts use to mod clutch for punch out of corners ?

Thanks
