It is one more prove that number of ports and moddings on them (as tear drops, cuts, polishing etc) don't metter for performance. Right angles, right tapering and right materials on sleeve and piston-those are the keys for power, the rest is just marketing.

Yes, still 1st generation. funny he complaint that still use 1st gen but his engine is still fast and stable so we did not care.

changed the conrod and the crankshaft once because it was old Max crankshaft when we first fitted.

no tear drop, no cuts, just stock original 3 ports.

Yes, On a fairly open track with around 230 feet straight

Here is the qualify result, ( thanks for the camera man)

In fact, our BRB should have TQ instead of Second in qaulify, but the so call TQ car with MAX15 did not have enough fuel to run the last lap HOWEVER the pitman walk over the sensor with his car.

Guess what , the orgainiser is the pitman!!!!

Default ps12 with the centax clutch

I recently got an mtx3 so I want to put my ps12 in it. It used to be in my ntc3, I have to put at least 3 shims behind the collet. I probably could use at least one more. Is this usual? I only need 1 with my Rb. It looks like the ps12 has an extra thread or 2 on the crank compare to the rb.
Thanks

Hello Ed,

Congratulation on your web page !!

So when the whole package, i.e crankshaft, Bi metal P/S, rod and button head be available ? Got two spare nova rossi crankcases waiting.....PM with further info if possible...never the less the 1st generation BRB set is still going strong and well, hence waiting for the next level of performance !!!!

Thanks

philip

Hi Philip.

The Bi-Metal sets wont be available for some time yet. There is still a lot of testing to be done to make sure they are perfect.

Will you be at Mendip next weekend? Should be a good meeting. Look me up. Will be pitting in with Lee and Martin.
