I guess I have nothing better to do just to look after the cat, but this son of b.. is sooooooo leasy, sometimes he even doesn't want to clear way for my guys to move some parts.
O'Donnell was really good. Will go test couple of motors on XDyno with Brian this Saturday.

Hi guys.
look the screen shot-this new thing I got. Audio Tach software. Just put laptop with microphone on any place of track and instantly got RPM of engine on the screen.
Love it, will try on the track Saturday.

Can you give us more information on that software package??
I couldn't find information over the net.
Who makes it? Where to buy, etc.

It is absolutly correct-you will not find in the net any information for this software-it is from one of my friend in Russia from airmodels.
This software is basecaly sound analizer. We know that every sound has friquency, so when our motors are running let's say 42000 RPM-friquency is 700 Hz. This software picking up friquency by using Microphone, analize it, removes all extra noizes and mathemticaly recalculate friquency from Hz to RPM.
I played with it yesterday with sound generator on my second PC and it works very accurate. I will test it Saturday on track and see if it works in our aplication as good as in airmodeling.
