Rossi Marenello, If you want a competitive engine buy a novarossi,if you want a long lasting engine and have no aspirations to race buy the Rossi,no wait a minute I would still buy the novarossi.

Well I Have the first two Rossi engines generations. The Black Pixy and Gold Pixy
And have the second generation engine made by Alezzandro Rossi the AXE .12

Well It all depends. There are three types of carburators. From I can remember. And there are newer engines out there.

Black Pixy\Chrome Head.
Normal and coned shaped on the inside and easy to tuned carburator.

Gold Pixy\Gold Head
The carburator mouth is more bigger and oval shaped on the inside than the normal one, and it took me a while to setup this type of carburator.

AXE .12\Black Head
This is a new diferent beast. And I couldn't nerver setup this carb. I had to replace the normal one instead and all went well.

Can't say what are the settings. All i kow is the normal Coned Shaped one is easier to tuned than the others. But thats in my case thoug.

But I'll try to check the box if theres a default settings for the engines.

The Black Head you're asking is the AXE Rossi .12

There's a newor 4th generation named Cobra .12 But don't have any clue about this one.

Hope this will help you for something.
