didn't break it, the rod cracked and then the journal pin wore down and I didn't catch it in time.

Nope, wrong crank. this is a different crank from all the rest. It only came in the above 2 engines.

does anyone have any experience with the new 35 plus motor? if so where did you get it from?

My LHS has a few of them in stock: http://www.brooklynhobbies.com/index...OD&ProdID=1571
From what I heard is that the engine provides insane power while giving the same HIgh rpm output.

thanks for the responses. 1/8 onroad is new to me this year and i am having a little difficulty with sticker shock! i have heard that motor is the one to get but it sure isn't cheap! with pipe and after modding, it will be close to 800.00!

Yeah, 1/8 is no kidding, you either act serious and play or just stand aside and watch. Good luck with your 1/8 adventure tho.

Just ordered a N12LS3. Should have it by tuesday next week. Really don't know what to expect from this engine.
