Thanks for the help, i will let you know how it performs in a couple month...you know its winter hehe

Good luck with it. Mine didn't last long! I didn't like this engine at all. The short stroke engines are stronger all through the rev range in my opinion! I tried it on different pipes, gearing, etc, and it just felt like it lacked.

I'd also suggest the short stroke version..........

I think for small engines likie 2.1cc the long stroke ones don't perform the expected...........the bottom end gain, if it really exists, is negligible, but the lack of power at high rpm is noticable.......

maybe in very small tracks, I'd say with straights smaller than 40mts the long stroke engine will deliver very good power........

Which one is the short stroke the LS?
I will reorder soon so let me know quick please. You say get the LS3 or 5 port?

Thanks again

EDIT: The track straight here are around 30-40 m

yes........the short stroke engine is the LS.........

3 or 5 port is up to you........I personally don't see any advantage on the 5 port version..........anyway it's suposed to be even faster than the 3 port and this is why 5 port engines are not allowed in EFRA, ROAR or IFMAR races nor in any championship that follows these rules (most of the races over the world)

well im in canada and both local tracks are pretty much run what you bring ANY .12 outlaw or whatever port. So if the LS is better why is the LL more expensive? Im still wondering if i should go with the LS since every novarossi i seen here was the LL, is it cause its the best thing to run or is it because of some unseen thing hehe. All this time i been told get the LL get the LL now the LS. I guess i will just think a little before ordering. On novarossi's site the LS is listed with 1.56 HP and 41, 300 RPM and the LL is listed at 1.58 and 41,100 RPM so i dont understand if it will be a big diff...please help me im sorta confused.

these numbers mean nothing...........

if you realy run at a small track, maybe the LL will work well...........

anyway I think the LS is an all round engine, more suitable for different tracks........

Thanks, I will let you know how it goes. I will decide last second kinda pick one and just get it.

Well, I got my Rossi tuned hotmodded Novarossi LL3 on Tuesday and I am going to run it this weekend. I already have a hotmodded LS3. While the LL will not be fully broken in, the LS only has one race on it. I will try them both and let you guys know my initail impressions on the two different engines.

here you find how to replace the pisto/sleeve set........

about your engine, IMO it's the best overall buggy engine, much more reliable than 8-ports and as much gast as these ones........

to take the sleeve off the cranckcase you just have to put a zip tie through the exhaust port and turn the cranckshaft by your hand.......

somebody might be able to help me out here. I'm looking for a crank for my RR12L3. Anybody have a blown RR12L3, N12LL3 or a crank part number 15604?

This should be the right one. How did you break your crank in the first place?
