+1

I haven't seen one of these bearings, but are they recessed more/or in a way, that you couldn't take a "normal" bearing apart and machine the inner ring?
Maybe you get interference on the ball cage...

I would disassamble the engine and mount the crankcase in a lathe to get rid of the small edge making a normal 14.5x26 bearing possible.

... and call it normal! I bring this concept even further: by my opinion the only "normal" bearings are the 1" OD.....

Hi, I just bought a new Flash 12 PTS. The original sealed plastic bag where the engine packed in is full with oil. Is it normal or front bearing has had leaking? Thank you.

If you are confident, pull the engine down, clean any excess factory residue, look for burrs etc and inspect everything is ok before you fire it up.

Is it possible that novarossi put in some oil to prevent from rust?

If oil leakage from front bearing, any engine performance affected?

There is always some oil on the inside of the bag and on the outside of the engine case that has leaked out of the engine during transit. When built NR put quite a bit of inhibiting oil inside to prevent corrosion and so it is only this that has leaked out. It shouldn't have any colour.

Air leaks on the front bearing can cause erratic running particularly at idle and initial acceleration but I doubt you've got an issue with the new engine. Just run it and see.

I always remove the rear cover and head and wash the engine out with the fuel I am going to use just prior to installing and firing up for the first time.

Does the oil always seep out from front bearing? Any problem of the bearing? Thank you...

Yeah I've had engines do that when sat. Not when running though. I think you'll be fine. The only real way to see if you've got a leaking bearing is to run the engine as the engine will suck air inside through the bearing not blow out so it'll drag air in not blow fuel out if that makes sense. Don't worry I'm confident you'll be all good.

Use the 2660 (51615) pipe with the short or medium (41615 or 41616) header
