Thanks MHarisson... really appreciate your sharing

so i guess the 2620 will have slightly lesser runtime than the 2601 but have a little more top end

Easy actually, ain't it?
my super new engine got passed by someone's 353 / 2630 pipe combo... my 353 with 2630 was too lame, put in a 51607 to wake it up a bit more... but still got passed

maybe i really got a bad one ??

Default 353 rubbing mtx4r brake disk... help !

ok, on a more serious note, i think this has been asked before.

my mtx4r 'double' brake disk is hitting! my 353 carburetor and 'grinding' it off...

any problem if i were to grind off a bit of my 353 carburetor so that tha brake disk doesn't touch it anymore ? (i am not sure how thick is the carburetor wall). do not want to increase the engine height.

appreciate any advice . please help thanks

Just loosen the pinch bolt on the carb and rotate it a little bit. You shouldn't have to grind on the carb, just rotate it a little bit out of the way and it should be fine.

thanks to all for the advice.. i guess some of you guys are on a different car.

guess only the mtx4 with the very thick mugen disk brake will encounter this thing.. anyway, will try to rotate it again.. anyway, no big problem ...

thanks.

I have this issue as well. Well, i did not rotate the the carb and such. I left it there as it is.And a small cut can be seen on the carb. after a few rounds at the track and it works fine after that. Just my 2 cents

If it is like the NoToil oil I use you can dilute it with alcohol. It comes already diluted and nice and thin but dries quickly into nice thick sticky stuff.
