This weekend we had our Region 4 Championship. I want to say thanks to Novarossi for providing such great products. I was able to TQ sedan and 1/8 scale and win the Sedan main. I had some issues in the 1/8 scale main, but had the fastest lap and fastest car. Thanks again Nova.

35plus21 get the biggest conrod's hole diameter, while 359 get the smallest conrod's hole.

manifold question
can someone share their knowledge/experience on the effects or performance of using the different manifolds on your nova engine?
type - performance
short (3-fins) - ???
medium (4-fins) - ???
lonog (5-fins) - ???
which manifold is best for
12-3SCT
LS3
LL5

A longer manifold will give a longer exhaust system what will result in more bottom power and less top RPM. This is basic 2-stroke theory.

It is all about resonation, the shockwave comming back to the engine act like a exhaust valve keeping the fresh fuel in the motor. Shorter exhaust will give a shorter resonation time which will give the better timing on higher rpm's

Temperature of 35 plus 21 Collari
Hi guys!
One of my motors is the Collari (1) version of the Nova 35 plus 21 mill. Whatever I do, I can not get the temperature below 120 deg. C. A little bit richer on the HSN needle and the car wont even go into second gear. The motor smokes like a steam train, which is telling me that it is still to rich. Performance is close to other engines on the track, even that rich. Piston/sleeve contact area is smooth with no scratches and compression is very high (hard to turn flywheel over hot and cold). Standard head gap with 0,7mm shim stack. 25% Nitro, Orcan/Serpent fuel (Jonker Netherlands).
I know how to tune an engine, and I ran other engines leaner with temps around 110 deg. C, so I think the Collari "likes" or needs higher temperatures.
Any thoughts or advise on this?
Many thanks in advance!
Regards Stefan

It can be the exhaust, the Sirio 2013 exhaust can make the engine 15 to 20 degrees higher.
