Yes. I had one a few years ago and it went very well. Lots of torque but not a high end engine. On my G4 i had to change the gearing considerably to get any top speed but it can pull tall gearing like crazy.
If you are racing in a local club that has a very big track, this may not be the engine for you. Where i race at www.rcpikeriver.com
, most of the guys have high end JP's or Novarossi 353 and the track is medium size. The d3r cannot compete on the longer sections but does very well on the technical part.
