I believe projectzen should have them...if not the d3r is the same just better. Its also a good price. I would pick that one up.

D3R is much better in standard shape, D3 needs a lot of modifying to perform as the D3R, so if you can find a D3R, buy it fast

My motor is acting weird. It acts like its super rich but it isn't. I'm thinking my midneedle is 1 turn to rich. But I don't know. Maybe my plug is to hot. But I don't know anybody got any suggestions. I also am using Nightmares needle settings. The car barley move, the clutch is perfect but its that rich thing that I can't get right. Compression is also very tight.

Try going back to the stock settings. If your compression is good it will run good enough for you to dial your power back in.

Tried that but I probally need to lean it a good 2 turns before it makes any power. How hot can these motors run. Because if I want this thing to run itll have to run at about 280-300.

Does the piston still "pinch"? When you take out the glow plug does the piston still bind when it gets to the top? If it does the motor is not broken in yet and you still will have to run it rich until the piston stops binding. That extra friction from the piston binding will really jack up engine temps even if the motor is spitting rich. What nitro content are you running? Is your air filter clean? How is your body trimmed?

That was exactly the same problem we had with the STS engine here. After some polishing on the crank (and I use an old Novamax crankcase which I think has better tolerance than the STS) and use a 6mm pipe (as per Dino's suggestion), the problem was gone.

Well my motor was used, I took off my head and tried pulling the glow head part off but the whole sleeve came with it. Now im thinking that shouldn't happen. But of course I'm not sure. The engine has fine pinch. I also had a good air filter and I was running without a body in my r40. When there is no glow plug it has next to no pinch only a small bit of resistance. I like to run all my motors a small bit rich on the top end but this rich is rediculous.

I am also running 25 percent nitro with a hot turbo plug. I'm thinking of switching to a meduim or cold plug when I get back up to the lhs.

You may want to add a shim or two to the head or drop down to 20% nitro. Going to a colder plug may help too. Oh yea does your car roll well? Is anything draging?

I was surprised on how the car rolled it was very free for a belt car. Very close to my ntc3. Ill try to add a shim and drop to a colder plug.
