Novarossi 2630 or 2602 for Maxpower MF
which pipe do you guys recommend for the Maxpower MF.12, i was looking to get the 2630, but someone said they very thirtsy pipes, and that the 2602 is better suited to the Max MF.12. We run a short technical track, not many straight sections and no sweepers. Does anyone have any suggestions or any comments on the 2630 and the 2602?
heres a picture of the track: http://i214.photobucket.com/albums/c...37/track_b.jpg any advice would be helpfull, thanks guys!!! |
i dunno about those pipes but u need one that has a long header and a short Fat pipe. sorry i couldnt be of more help, ask some1 down at the track if u dont get any other response

I'd go with the 2602, for sure.
It gives better mid range and better fuel mileage than the 2630 and your straights are not that long. |
ive also heard that the 2630 has a better bottom end, would it not suit the track better seeing as its more of a track that need a better bottom end power than top end power?
|
2602 has more bottom to mid, and 2630 has more top end, 2602 makes more mileage. thats what i know

i was told that the 2630 has more bottom end power than the 2602 |
use the Max Power 2615 complete pipe as this was made for that motor. no other header fits this pipe other than the max
|
2615, how is this pipe different to the 2602 and 2630. i know of guys that run 2602 and the 2630 from what ive seen around, but never heard of the 2615?

the conical header opens out to a 21 size manifold with a really short pipe.
it give good fuel ecno , it gives mid to top end power which is what you want for that motor , i also run that motor here in AUS. Fantastic for all the 1 gear work for the track. |
