RB 523 carb binding

Default RB 523 carb binding

Throttle arm is too long on these carbs causing a bind, maybe it's just mine but I don't believe it's an isolated incident.

Anyone with one of these motors have this problem and what did you do to remedy this. A shorter arm would work but hard to find one with the correct inside diameter.

Update;

Spent about 30 min with some Marvel Mystery Oil and worked the slide in hopes to polish the aluminim a bit. Seems to have smoothed out quite a bit and I have found out that the arm for a .12 RB will fit the 523.

Here is a pic of the two arms, the long arm of the 523 can easily apply sideways pressure to the slide.
