.21 onroad motor under $300
I am looking at the picco p9r or the os 21vz-r either can be bought for under $300 and I am a fan of OS I live really close to the track I race on and plan on going through a lot of gallons on the motor I choose. I want something powerful that holds a good tune. I am experienced with nitro engines but I have been out of the scene for about 5years and want to get your guys input on them.
Thanks

I race at Joyce Park (where you will be racing I believe) and used the OS Ver II engine. It was a good consistent engine, durable and easy to get parts...I definatly noticed it topped out on RPMs down the back straight. It did very well on the infield. I will continue to use this engine but also have rebuilt the Mega DSII that swallowed a glow plug filament.
The Mega DSII is apparently the same as the Picco P9R and I liked the way the Mega DSII ran. I think it had a little more RPM.

I will be racing at joyce again this year, It had been a few years, but I am ready. It sounds like things are where they have been os motor = good tune / no rpm and picco = lower quality than a nova but good power. I think I might pick up the picco.
Thanks,
Mike
